The music on this website is provided in sheet music format. Many songs also have an accompanying midi-piano recording to give you an idea of what the song sounds like.  Most songs were written for voice with easy piano accompaniment and many even have guitar chords. See the descriptions below for the variety of sheet music found on this website.

Sheet Music Collections

Scripture Songs: Psalm 40:8 says: "I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart." KJV  One way to "write God's Word on our hearts" is to memorize scripture.  Many people find that setting Bible verses to music makes memorization easier and therefore I have dedicated one page to Scripture Songs. 

Sabbath Songs:  The Sabbath has always been an important day for our family. It's a day to put aside our busy lives and spend time refreshing our relationships with God, family, and friends. The Sabbath page includes songs to remind us of the special rest God gave us to enjoy each week on the seventh-day.

Sing the Psalms: Many years ago while trying different methods of Bible study and looking for ways to enhance personal devotions, I read and studied some of the Psalms and then tried putting them to music. On the Psalms page there are a few of the ones I like the best. These could also be considered "Scripture Songs" but since I have several that are taken strictly from the Psalms, there is a page just for Scripture Songs from the book of Psalms.

Sacred Pieces: See the Hymns page for sacred music which doesn't fit the other categories listed above. 

Instrumental: Sometimes music can speak to the heart without the need for words.  The Instrumental page is where you will find easy-listening songs for solo piano or a piano accompaniment for a solo C-instrument such as a violin or recorder.  This music was originally used for background music at church gatherings.

Keyboard Duets: For many years, I was the music coordinator for our local Seventh-day Adventist Church.   To add variety to the worship service, my sister and I would play piano duets.  My sister would play the acoustic piano and I would play an electric keyboard.  We quickly ran out of arrangements for 2 keyboards so I arranged several hymns and the sheet music for these hymn arrangements can be found on the Duets page.

Holiday: Under Holiday music, there are several Christmas carols and songs which our family uses during December to focus our attention on Jesus and find the true meaning of the season.  A Resurrection section will be added soon for use when celebrating Jesus' death and resurrection.

Readers' Theater: I've added a Readers' Theater page to this music website, which also includes a few choral readings and responsive readings, because in Bible times, the Scriptures were often chanted while accompanied by a stringed instrument.
